Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Hi! I'm Karen Stedman of Bloom Occupational Therapy. I provide OT services for young children and their families out of a clinic space inside my home in SE Kent. I also provide services in home and community based settings, such as daycares or preschools. At Bloom OT, I use a therapeutic approach that honors and supports each child's individual experiences, interests and learning styles. I partner with families throughout the therapy process, checking in each week and problem solving strategies to support their children across settings. Together, we celebrate progress, big and small, while fostering essential skills through play-based activities. My Background: I hold a degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College of Syracuse University, active Washington State licensure, and national board certification. I have worked with young children with special needs in early intervention, clinic based settings, and school based settings since 2001.
